Adam Lavelle – Business Manager
Adam, a local Bathurst boy, is a highly capable Business Manager with a passion for helping people. It is this passion that has led Adam to the health industry and in particular Occupational Therapy. Adam has previously worked in Business related roles across several industries including entertainment, music, local/federal government, hospitality, human resources and the not for profit sector.
Adam’s varied experience has equipped him with the tools to ensure that Back on Track remains sustainable for the long term, with effective business processes, diligent financial management and a high level of customer service for all stakeholders.
Adam has a Bachelor of Business (Marketing and Management) from the University of Newcastle, a Diploma of Advance Market Research from University of New South Wales (UNSW) and is a graduate of the Complete Presenter program at the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA).
When not at work, Adam can be found hacking his way around the Bathurst Golf Course, doing some laps at the local Aquatic Centre, being wiped off the court down at John Matthews, having a beer or two with friends at a local watering hole or supporting his beloved Swans and Rabbitohs!
Vanessa Mahon – Head Clinician
Vanessa is a well-respected and revered Occupational Therapist with almost 10 years’ experience. A proud graduate of Charles Sturt University, Vanessa has practiced across Victoria, Queensland and New South Wales. Vanessa holds a Masters Degree from Deakin University, and has practiced across numerous government roles, hospitals, and most recently private practice settings.
Vanessa brings with her a wealth of experience, knowledge and passion which she utilises to bring out the best in her clients. Vanessa’s infectious enthusiasm and passion for Occupational Therapy is contagious amongst all who work with her. Vanessa specialises in working with teenagers and adults to realise their occupational goals through addressing their concerns with both physical and mental health.
Growing up in country Victoria, Vanessa has a love of animals and can be often found walking her dog Hamish along the river or out riding her horse Toby. Vanessa is partial to a good sale at the shops, chocolate and Annie’s Ice Creamery (in moderation for health reasons of course). Vanessa also enjoys netball and tennis, as well as creative pursuits such as painting and gardening.
